- Digi Dinos provides porting and migration that moves old systems to new technology. We move old versions of PHP, Java, Node.js, .NET and more, and servers that are out of support (such as CentOS 7), to supported environments or clouds such as AWS, with security and data protection in mind throughout. Digi Dinos is an AWS Consulting Partner.
- Will our business or website stop during a system migration?
- Digi Dinos migrates in a way that keeps things running as much as possible. Work and checks happen in a separate environment before switching over, so downtime is short. If a stop cannot be avoided, we agree on it with you in advance and do it at a quiet time.
- Can an old system with no documentation still be migrated?
- Yes. Digi Dinos reads the code to work out how the system and its business rules work, and writes the documentation the migration needs. We also take on systems whose original developer cannot be reached or whose person in charge has left.
- Can you handle database and data migration too?
- Yes. Digi Dinos moves databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL and SQL Server off old versions and moves your data. After the move, we confirm the data and behaviour came across correctly before switching over.
